How does The Appt work?
You browse independent providers in Victoria, book a service and time, and pay online. Your provider comes to your home, office, or wherever you chose.
Where do appointments happen?
Wherever you book. Providers come to you. You set the location when you book.
How do I pay?
Securely online when you book. No cash or e-transfers. A $2 booking fee is added at checkout.
Can I tip my provider?
Yes. You can add a tip, and 100% of it goes to your provider.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Your provider holds that time and travels to reach you, so notice matters. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. With less than 24 hours notice, you're charged 50% of the service and your tip is returned. No-shows are charged in full.
Are providers verified?
Yes. Every provider is reviewed and approved before they can take bookings.
For providers
How much does The Appt take?
You keep 90% of each booking plus 100% of tips. The Appt keeps 10%. It's free to join, with no monthly or setup fee.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe, directly to your bank account. You connect your account once during setup.
How do I become a provider?
Apply on the Join page. Once you're approved, you set up your services, prices, and availability.
Can I set my own prices and hours?
Yes. You set your prices, your availability, and your service area.

What areas do you cover?
Victoria, BC and the surrounding area for now, wherever your provider is willing to travel. More cities coming soon.
